Consulting

Reno Efficient Sustainable Practices (ESP) offers a full range of preconstruction consulting services. Although ESP consulting services are geared to incorporate energy efficiency, they can also be applied to projects of all types particularly when taking into account that many state codes require standards that involve energy efficiency measures as a required approach to planning and building. Title 24 is a good example of building code standards that affect all California projects regardless of the intention to implement energy efficiency.

As a division of Reno Contracting, ESP is comprised of personnel possessing an extensive background in construction and construction management to draw upon when delivering consulting services. ESP has created the Roadmap to Efficiency and Sustainability, which demonstrates a comprehensive path that can be implemented to achieve project goals in a strategic, systematic fashion. The first part of the roadmap guides clients through preconstruction, it is here that ESP consulting services are delivered.

As “consulting” can be an ambiguous term, the following three points explain how the menu of ESP consulting services are applied to clients:

  1. You, as the client, have an efficiency based or standard building plan. Reno ESP, as the consultant, confirms the viability of the plan to include fiscal concerns.

  2. You have an efficiency based or standard building plan. ESP reviews the plan and finds that the plan needs amending and creates solutions demonstrating feasibility to include fiscal concerns.

  3. You do not have an efficiency based or standard building plan. ESP creates an efficiency based or standard building plan.

Over the past two decades Reno Contracting has built more than $1 billion of real estate and adopted emerging energy efficiency standards as they developed. Reno continues to do so today. From ensuring adherence to Title 24, LEED and Energy Star, to assembly bills AB 32 and AB 1103, Reno ESP consultants adapt and lead the way forward with expertise and precision.
