The interior space build-out is currently in the final phase of programming, with interior improvements design set to begin immediately.

INVITROGEN CP-11 NEAR FINAL COMPLETION
CP-11 provides additional manufacturing and research and development space for Invitrogen at its operations facility located in Carlsbad. This project created specialty-manufacturing areas as well as generic laboratory bench and fume hood space.

The construction area was deep within the building and required extreme cooperation between Reno Contracting, project sub-contractors & service providers, and Invitrogen. The project was phased with very short timelines as some construction areas were occupied thus requiring equipment and personnel interim moves.

InvitrogenCP-11 employed construction & finish methods developed and refined throughout this multi-phased project. The primary objective was to complete the project while having no impact on facility operations. The team performed admirably to successfully achieve the goal.

Invitrogen Corporation (Nasdaq:IVGN) provides products and services that support academic and government research institutions and pharmaceutical and biotech companies worldwide in their efforts to improve the human condition.
