Reno Contracting has the Certificate of
Occupancy and Memec will be moving into their new headquarters
in Kilroy Centre Del Mar
building 4.
The five-story, 86,000 sf tenant improvement project was completed
in 14 weeks with a first class job from the complete team: Randy
Jackson, Kilroy Realty; George Evans, Memec; Anne Sneed, Howard
Sneed Architects; and from Reno, Rob Thomson, Project Manager;
Ken Taylor, Project Superintendent; Lori Ann Stevens, Project
Engineer; and Terri Smeal, Project Administrator.

Randy Jackson, George Evans and the entire Memec team made timely
decisions which enabled the project to maintain momentum and

Sempra Rancho Bernardo Complete
Reno Contracting has completed an 8 week, multi-million dollar
project for Sempra/SDG& E in Rancho Bernardo. The 22,100 sf,
2-building facility was designed by Richard Yen & Associates
and will house the new office facilities for Sempra/SDG&E. The
Reno team members were Dan Schwartzer, Clark Clowar, & Wade
Richardson, Project Manager, Superintendent, & Engineer respectively.
Bart
Provo Completes Yet Another Diversa Project
Since the completion of Diversa Phase II in February 2002, Reno
Project Superintendent and Lab Guru, Bart Provo, has worked
constantly on numerous projects within the operating lab building(s).
Tissue Culture, Fungal Room, Collaboration Area, Executive Area
Remodel, Machine Shop, NewBiotics Sublease, to name just a few
of the projects. Clean construction work in sensitive areas
that demand it.
New USA Federal Credit Union Completed
in Temecula
Dan Schwartzer (Project Manager) and Steve Honn (Project Superintendent)
have just completed a new 4,000 sf branch facility for USA Federal
Credit Union. Working with Rob Folsom of the Credit Union and
Peter Urbon of Urbon Architects proved to be a smooth and enjoyable
process for everyone. On budget, on time and excellent quality!
Mid-Stride
on AMN Healthcare
Erik Kissner, Tony Thomas & Fred Hucke, Project Superintendents
for Reno Contracting are pushing hard on the Kilroy Realty 6-story
Lot 7 AMN Healthcare Project. A 3-story parking structure, 168,000
sf of tenant improvements and a very tight site has made it
a logistical challenge. Reno is up to the task. Bill Hansen
is the Project Manager with Mick Ellis and Ken Stender as Project
Engineers, Terri Smeal rounds out the team as Project Administrator.
Howard Sneed is the interiors architect, HKS is the shell,
core, site and parking structure architect. AMN Healthcare will
move into their world headquarters in July 2003.

Reno Contracting Completes 8 Hour Biotech
Training
Cathleen Davies, President of BioTech Primer, Inc. provided
an intensive 8 hour training on biotech and biotech facilities
to Reno Contracting. Attended by 15 members of the Bio-Hi tech
group, the training was very informative and well received.
