Reno ESP

Got ESP? We do.

Reno's ESP team uses know-how and intuition to build you and your tenants a sustainable future.

  • Are you seeking significant reductions in your building's water and energy utility costs?
  • Trying to create a healthier workplace and environmental profile, to attract and retain tenants?
  • Realize Federal, State and local utility incentives?
  • Track your building’s operational success more effectively and set goals for improvement?
  • Contribute to the sustainability of your community?

Reno ESP (Efficient Sustainable Practices) combines leading “green” construction practices and the latest energy efficient products and technology, with a team of experts who will diagnose potential issues then determine solutions to meet your individual goals.

The outcome: measurable and long-term economic benefits and a building that contributes to the quality of life for its occupants and the surrounding community.

LEED for Existing Buildings
Since 1993 Reno has constructed over 350 facilities in southern California ranging from mid-rise office buildings, to medical clinics, to biotech laboratories. Our general contracting services have always helped facility owners and managers reduce facility construction costs. Now Reno can apply these same principles to further sustainable efforts in existing buildings.

“RENO manages facility improvement measures to create positive cash flow”
Reno has teamed up with local engineers and commissioning agents to develop roadmaps for energy and water conservation based on providing existing buildings the quickest return on investment available. A typical project roadmap is as follows:

  • Perform energy audit to specifically identify a building’s energy usage
  • Identify facility improvement measures and utility incentives
  • Identify energy and water savings • Identify LEED Existing Building certification points
  • Develop a financial analysis to highlight facility improvement measures with the best return on investment

Based on the needs of the existing building owner, Reno’s team can provide a design build program that includes full building measures such as, HVAC, Solar, Cool Roofs, Window Replacements, Window Tinting, Window Shades, Water Recycling and Water System Integration. During the process of this program Reno’s team can also identify, track, and submit credits to help achieve a LEED rating under the Existing Buildings: Operation and Maintenance system.
